From the Misaki Sushi Restaurant format to the USA:
the story of Lucio Giordano

Born in 1979, Lucio Giordano is driven by an unstoppable passion for food & beverage. His rise in the industry begins in 2013 with Misaki Sushi in Pompei (NA), a concept that immediately wins over the public thanks to top-level sushi chefs and impeccable service. Success leads to the opening of Misaki Sorrento (2017) and Misaki Positano (2021), beloved destinations for tourists, influencers and Japanese cuisine enthusiasts from around the world.

The First Michelin Star

In 2020 Giordano signs his first gourmet restaurant: Re Santi e Leoni in Nola (NA), awarded the Michelin Star just months after opening. That same year he launches Eight More, a line of ready-to-drink cocktails — Negroni, Americano, Martini Dry, Daiquiri and more — hand-crafted and ready to serve. In 2021 the American Dream arrives: Like Mike – The Italian Taste opens in Miami.

2024: New Horizons between Milan and Nola

2024 marks a new chapter. Giordano sells Like Mike in Miami to focus his energy on two ambitious Italian projects: the opening of a venue at the prestigious Porta Venezia location in Milan, one of the most cosmopolitan dining hubs, and the debut of Secret Sushi at Vulcano Buono in Nola. A vibrant retreat where traditional Japan meets a contemporary touch, to bring back the true taste, the true culture, the true soul of sushi.
